The Lenovo ThinkPad X200 is a little bundle of surprises. When the announcement for the launch of this laptop was made, many wondered on why it was being launched, especially when the ThinkPad X300 had actually managed to be very successful. However, just a few days after its launch, the world knew the reason behind this little beauty’s existence.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X200 comes as an ultraportable laptop with a 12.1 inch screen, and a comparatively lesser price as compared to other laptops in the ThinkPad family. The hard drive is 160 GB with the memory as 2GB, and the operating system is Windows Vista Business. The battery life is what surprises many, as till date, reviews of this laptop have indicated it to have one of the longest battery lives ever seen in a laptop. It is a 9 cell battery, and the weight for it starts around 3 pounds.
The weight for this laptop otherwise is 3.7 pounds, which increases to 4.4 pounds with the AC adapter. Again, like most other laptops in the ThinkPad family, this one also has a rectangular black case, that looks pretty good. The keyboard too is comfortable in this laptop with the keys at a good distance. There are only slight problems with the navigation; however, if you can overlook that, then this one should make a good choice.
